Scott May

Scott May is the Executive Director of the International Center for Professional Development, a national non-profit organization that provides mentoring and career development training programs in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.

Scott has over 25 years of association and non-profit executive experience and he specializes in non-dues program development, strategic planning, facilitation and corporate relations. He managed President George W. Bush’s Mathematics and Science Initiative for the U.S. Secretary of Education. He has 19 years of experience in STEM education reform and has worked as a senior executive at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the National Science Teachers Association, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, and the Biotechnology Institute. He holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Austin College. He speaks Spanish and resides in Falls Church, Virginia.
